Project Manager

EPAM is delivering a multi-year cloud migration program for one of Greece's large enterprises, moving IT infrastructure from dozens of production sites into Google Cloud. We are looking for an On-site Project Manager to join the on-site discovery phase and lead technical discovery activities at client sites across Greece. The role combines hands-on project coordination, team leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the discovery team on-site: daily planning, task allocation, progress check-ins
• Ensure the site discovery scope is completed according to defined standards and exit criteria
• Own the site dossier and ensure its completeness before the team leaves the site
• Act as the main point of contact for the client's site management during the visit
• Plan and prepare each site visit with the client site owner, including scheduling, access, safety requirements, and stakeholder availability
• Coordinate stakeholder interviews and validation of the site's IT landscape
• Track and resolve on-site issues and risks, escalating to program management as needed
• Hand over site findings to the assessment and planning team
• Report site status and effort actuals to the Service Delivery Manager
• Close the visit with the client site owner and contribute lessons learned to the discovery runbook

Requirements

• 4+ years of project or delivery management experience in IT infrastructure, ideally within a migration or transformation program
• Experience running on-site discovery, assessment, or audit activities; exposure to industrial or Operational Technology environments is an advantage
• Ability to lead small technical teams on-site and represent EPAM to client site management
• Working knowledge of infrastructure and application landscapes sufficient to coordinate discovery activities and validate findings
• Strong documentation skills and disciplined execution against defined standards and exit criteria
• Fluent in Greek and B2+ English
• Willingness to travel regularly across Greece, including islands
