Program Manager II, Employee Relations Data & Systems
Location: San Francisco, CA (hybrid, 50% remote)
Position type: Contract, W2
Duration: Approximately 12 months (October 26, 2026 to October 29, 2027)
About the Role
Our client's Employee Relations (ER) team is seeking a contract Program Manager to work with its data and systems. This position will focus on strengthening the connection between ER data and the systems the team uses every day. The Program Manager will be skilled at improving data quality, building live reporting, and applying advanced analytics to surface insights that inform operational decisions and improve the employee experience.
What You'll Do
- Collect, clean, validate, transform, and analyze large or complex datasets from multiple sources to produce reliable insights.
- Build clear, compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and analytical outputs that make complex findings accessible to business stakeholders.
- Perform exploratory and ad hoc analyses to uncover patterns, anomalies, drivers, and opportunities that may not be captured by existing reporting.
- Develop analytical approaches and methodologies for measuring the effectiveness of ER programs, pilots, and operational changes.
- Drive continuous improvement of support infrastructure, processes, tooling, and measurement.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in a data science workbench environment, Tableau, or another data visualization tool, and deep experience with Google Sheets.
- Experience cleaning, validating, and automating quality checks for complex datasets.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative or technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HR, People Analytics, or Employee Relations data, including case management systems (e.g., Oracle, Case IQ).
- Familiarity with audit, compliance, or operational quality frameworks.
- Experience partnering with technical program managers or engineering teams.
- Strong judgment working with sensitive and confidential data.
