The Project Manager provides leadership throughout the project lifecycle, facilitating communication, managing risks and issues, coordinating resources, and ensuring adherence to PMO methodologies and governance standards. Success in this role requires strong client relationship management skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience while supporting continuous process improvement across the organization. The role will also partner with Sales and Leadership teams during the pre-sales process to review Statements of Work (SOWs), validate project scope, identify delivery risks, estimate resource requirements, and support the successful transition of projects from sales to delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple consulting and implementation projects, ensuring alignment with approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project governance artifacts, including Project Charters, Project Initiation Documents (PIDs), project plans, risk registers, issue logs, and status reports.
  • Establish and execute project management processes in accordance with BlueStreet PMO standards, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Build, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and milestone tracking to ensure successful project execution.
  • Coordinate and direct cross-functional teams, including business consultants, technical consultants, and client stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Facilitate project kickoff meetings, recurring status meetings, steering committee reviews, and stakeholder communications.
  • Provide timely and accurate project status reporting to clients, executive sponsors, and internal leadership, including progress against scope, schedule, budget, risks, and key deliverables.
  • Manage project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, change requests, project profitability, and resource utilization.
  • Identify, assess, document, and proactively mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints.
  • Lead change management activities by evaluating scope changes, documenting impacts, and obtaining appropriate approvals through established governance processes.
  • Monitor project health and performance metrics, escalating concerns and recommending corrective actions when project objectives are at risk.
  • Maintain project records and documentation to ensure compliance with organizational standards and quality management requirements.
  • Partner with PMO leadership to update and maintain project management templates, tools, methodologies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to secure and optimize project staffing requirements.
  • Prepare for and facilitate project quality reviews, stage gate reviews, and executive reporting sessions.
  • Ensure successful project transitions, including implementation readiness, knowledge transfer, client acceptance, and project closeout activities.
  • Conduct project retrospectives and lessons learned sessions to support continuous process improvement and organizational maturity.
  • Contribute to PMO initiatives that improve project delivery effectiveness, governance, reporting, and client satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 3+ years of project management experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Demonstrated experience managing software implementation, business process improvement, or consulting projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and the Microsoft 365 suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including project planning, risk management, change control, issue management, and stakeholder communications.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with executives, project teams, and clients.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings, drive accountability, and influence project outcomes without direct authority.
