Company Description Superfan.ng is an edtech learning platform focused on African languages and cultural knowledge. The platform uses a gamified, quiz-first experience to engage learners with African proverbs, traditions, rites of passage, festivals, folklore, and customs. Designed for Africans and the global diaspora, Superfan.ng aims to make cultural learning fun, interactive, and deeply immersive. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Project Manager at Superfan.ng. The Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional initiatives, define project scopes and timelines, and ensure successful delivery of product features and platform enhancements. Responsibilities include managing project plans, tracking milestones, overseeing task assignments, and facilitating communication between product, content, engineering, and design teams. The role involves identifying risks, resolving blockers, aligning stakeholders on priorities, and maintaining clear documentation and status reports. The Project Manager will also help optimize workflows, support continuous improvement, and ensure that projects align with Superfan.ng’s mission and user experience goals.
Qualifications

• Strong project management skills, including Project Management experience and the ability to oversee complex initiatives from planning to completion.
• Experience in expediting and working as an Expeditor, with a focus on keeping deliverables on schedule and resolving delays.
• Knowledge of Logistics Management and related coordination activities to manage resources, timelines, and dependencies effectively.
• Inspection skills to review work quality, ensure requirements are met, and maintain high standards across project deliverables.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills across remote and cross-cultural teams.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Jira, or similar).
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, prioritize multiple projects, and adapt to changing requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Business, Operations) or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in edtech, digital products, or culturally-focused platforms is a plus; familiarity with African cultures and languages is highly beneficial.
