ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex, large-scale projects across airport and airline environments. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational continuity within mission-critical aviation systems. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Oversee full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Manage multi-disciplinary teams including engineering, IT, operations, vendors, and external stakeholders. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic projects across airport and airline domains (e.g., passenger processing systems, biometrics, connectivity, infrastructure upgrades). Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with airport authorities, airlines, government entities, and regulatory bodies. Manage vendor and partner relationships, including contract negotiation and performance tracking. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies. Ensure compliance with aviation standards, safety regulations, and security requirements. Drive stakeholder communication at executive and operational levels. Lead program reporting, governance, and steering committee engagements. Support digital transformation initiatives (e.g., cloud, biometrics, automation, smart airport solutions). Ensure minimal disruption to airport and airline operations during project delivery. WHO YOU ARE: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Aviation Management, or related field (Master’s preferred). 10 – 15+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in airport/airline environments. Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex programs (multi-million dollar projects). Strong knowledge of airport systems such as: Passenger processing systems (DCS, CUSS, BHS integration) Airport operational systems (AODB, RMS) Connectivity and infrastructure programs Certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2. Strong understanding of aviation regulatory and operational environments. Experience in managing international stakeholders and multi-location deployments.
