About Us At Félix , we're building the financial ecosystem for Latin immigrants in the U.S., starting with a revolution in remittances. Our core product is an AI-powered chatbot powered by WhatsApp, allowing our users to send money home as easily as sending a text message. We leverage cutting-edge technology like AI, blockchain, and stablecoins to make cross-border payments faster, more affordable, and more accessible than ever before. We are a hyper-growth Series B company, backed by over $100 million in funding from top-tier global investors, including QED, Castle Island, Switch Ventures, HTwenty, Monashees, and General Catalyst Customer Value Fund. This isn't just about the numbers; it's a testament to the trust our investors have in our vision and our team. Additionally, Félix was selected as an “Endeavour Entrepreneur” and was a recipient of the CrossTech Fintech Startups Award. We are a group of extremely talented and dedicated high-performers, united by our shared obsession with a single goal: empowering our customers. We are all owners of Félix, driven by a bias for action and a true experimentation spirit to get shit done with urgency and focus. Joining Félix means you will be part of a team building a legacy, a company that will outlive us all. This is a rare opportunity to apply your skills to a deeply meaningful mission—serving a community that has been underserved for too long. We are a team that is fiercely loyal to each other, where radical transparency and constructive feedback are how we grow and push for excellence. We are bold, we care less about what others are doing, and more about creating sustainable value and a product that truly makes our users' lives better. We are building the future, today. About The Role We’re looking for a Compliance Operations Project Manager who will drive execution across the compliance roadmap. You are not the person running the queues, you are the person making sure the right projects get delivered on time, processes improve continuously, and cross-functional work doesn’t fall through the cracks. You’ll work closely with the Compliance Ops Manager to translate strategic priorities into concrete, trackable projects. You’ll partner with Engineering, Legal, Product, and external vendors to ship initiatives that make our compliance operations faster and more robust. And you’ll maintain visibility over the Team Leads’ work, not to manage them, but to identify friction, surface blockers, and keep the broader picture coherent. This is an execution-first role for someone who thrives on structure, loves getting things done in complex environments, and wants to grow into a senior compliance or operations leader. Reporting Line: You report directly to the Compliance Ops Manager. Operational decisions within defined parameters are yours to own. Regulatory, legal, or strategic decisions are escalated upward in to the Compliance Ops Manager. Responsibilities Cross-Functional Project Execution Manage and propose end-to-end compliance projects assigned by the Compliance Ops Manager, from scoping and stakeholder alignment to launch and post-implementation monitoring. Coordinate across Engineering, Legal, Product, and external partners to ensure technical and regulatory requirements are met simultaneously. Maintain a live project tracker: status, risks, owners, and deadlines visible to the Compliance Ops Manager at all times. Flag scope changes, delays, and blockers early. You're accountable for delivery and its quality, from scoping to hand-off, not just coordination. Gap Analysis & Process Optimization: Regularly audit current workflows to identify bottlenecks & optimization opportunities: Why are certain holds exceeding SLA? Partner with the Product team to automate repetitive compliance tasks, converting manual reviews into automated or human-in-the-loop workflows. You design and recommend process changes. Rule implementation and regulatory decisions require sign-off from the Compliance Ops Manager and/or Legal. You are the engine, not the final approver. Project Execution: Execute high-stakes compliance projects assigned by the Compliance Ops Manager Own end-to-end delivery: scoping, coordination, timeline management, and post-launch monitoring. Serve as the primary liaison between Compliance Operations and Legal/Engineering teams, ensuring technical deployments align with regulatory requirements. The Compliance Ops Manager owns the roadmap and prioritization. You own execution fidelity, bringing projects across the finish line on time and within compliance guardrails. Compliance Roadmap Tracking: The Compliance Operations Manager owns our Source of Truth and sets the strategic goals. Your role is to serve that strategy, to own the how. You translate the goals into a clear path forward, track where things stand, and drive how we move along the roadmap. Maintain and update the compliance operations roadmap in partnership with the Compliance Ops Manager: initiatives, owners, timelines, and dependencies. Run regular roadmap review meetings: prepare agendas, document decisions, and distribute action items. Ensure cross-functional dependencies. Produce concise status updates for the Compliance Ops Manager and senior stakeholders: clear on progress, risks, and decisions needed. Team Leads - Light Coordination: You are not the manager of the Team Leads, but you work closely with them and help keep operational reality connected to project work. Maintain a working understanding of day-to-day queue performance to identify when operational patterns should trigger a process improvement initiative. Coordinate with Team Leads when a project requires their input, testing, or temporary workflow changes. Surface recurring blockers from the Team Leads to the Compliance Ops Manager — you are a communication bridge, not a command layer. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) , Business or Law. Experience: 3 to 5 years in Compliance, Trust & Safety, Risk Operations, or other Regulatory Related Environment with at least 2+ years in a leadership level role. You thrive in a high-speed, 100% remote environment where fraud typologies evolve daily. People Leadership: Demonstrated ability to develop Team Leads, not just manage tasks, but build people. Fintech Expertise: Deep understanding of AML/KYC and document verification in a high-volume environment. Technical Literacy: Proficiency in SQL is highly preferred (Excel/Google Sheets is a must). Experience with IDV tools (Persona) and Support platforms is required. Language: Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English (written and verbal). These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered. What We Offer Competitive salary Initial stock options grant Annual performance bonus Health, dental, and vision plans Currently remote, we are aiming to move to a flexible hybrid model within the next few months Continuous learning opportunities Unlimited PTO Paid parental leave Empowering opportunities for growth in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment Equal Opportunity Employer At Félix, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified employees and applicants without regard to race, religion, nationality, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or disability. This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruitment, hiring, placement, promotion, training, compensation, benefits, and termination.
