Job Description

This is a remote position.

Construction Operations & Project Coordinator

Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $1,000–$1,300 per month

Work Schedule:
Time Range: Between 7 AM and 7 PM CST
Working Hours: 9 hours per day (8 working hours + 1-hour break)
Days Off: TBD (2 days per week)

About the Company

Our client is a hands-on Atlanta-area construction company where every team member makes a visible impact. Projects range from major residential remodels to light commercial remodels.

The company is independently owned and operated, with the sole owner bringing more than 25 years of construction experience. This is an opportunity to work closely with an experienced construction professional in a practical, fast-moving environment where your work directly contributes to project success.

About the Role

TeamFicient is looking for a highly organized and responsible Construction Operations & Project Coordinator to support daily construction operations.

You will serve as the central point of coordination between the owner, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. The ideal candidate is proactive, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while ensuring projects stay organized and moving forward.

Core ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination

  • Coordinate subcontractor schedules, information, and follow-ups.

  • Track project timelines, outstanding tasks, and action items.

  • Maintain organized and accurate project records.

  • Coordinate communication between the owner, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

  • Follow up consistently to ensure tasks and commitments are completed.

Client Communication

  • Keep clients informed throughout each project.

  • Provide timely updates regarding schedules, progress, and outstanding items.

  • Respond to client questions and coordinate information as needed.

  • Maintain a professional, responsive, and approachable communication style.

Change Orders & Documentation

  • Organize pricing, approvals, and documentation for change orders.

  • Track change-order requests and ensure necessary approvals are obtained.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

  • Help ensure all project-related information is organized and accessible.

Supplier & Operations Coordination

  • Coordinate supplier orders, availability, and delivery dates.

  • Follow up with vendors and suppliers to ensure materials arrive as scheduled.

  • Identify potential scheduling or delivery issues and communicate them promptly.

  • Support the owner with day-to-day operational coordination.

Candidate QualificationsMust-Haves

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Highly self-directed with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

  • Professional, responsive, and approachable communication style.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

  • Motivated by completing tasks, solving problems, and producing results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in project coordination, administration, operations, or a related role.

  • Construction industry experience is strongly preferred.

  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, or clients.

  • Familiarity with construction project workflows, schedules, and documentation.

  • Experience managing multiple projects or priorities simultaneously.
