My client is a leading multidisciplinary consultancy based in Galway. Due to their continued growth, they are seeking Project Manager`s at all levels to join their team in North Dublin
The successful candidates will work within an experienced Project Management team on projects across multiple sectors, including data centres, infrastructure, commercial office, retail, health, education, hotel and leisure and residential.
Duties:
- Assist in the delivery of PM commissions secured by the practice including
- Supporting the senior team in delivering the projects on time, within budget and in line with our scope of service.
- Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals, such as surveyors, engineers and architects.
- Management of minutes / agendas / meeting schedules and responsible for the coordination of the same.
- Reviewing weekly progress reports against the programme and providing feedback to the senior team.
- Facilitating the flow of information between the Design Team and Construction Team
- Supporting Communication between the Design Team and Sub-Contractors
- Attending weekly Management Team Meetings
- Assisting in the management and implementation of the Safety Management System
- Implementation of Daily and Weekly Programmes together with the issue of programme details to sub-contractors
- Checking and preparing weekly / monthly reports.
- Sustaining a high level of delivery and driving an excellent service delivery to all clients and stakeholders.
- Taking responsibility for producing clear and concise project briefs, reports and programmes, ensuring the companies standards are always upheld.
- Assisting senior staff in liaising with clients, stakeholders and design teams, always representing the highest level of professional integrity and mannerism in all dealings.
- Assisting the team in utilising Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, Project)
- Overseeing the management of fee proposals and assisting the senior team in developing bids.
- Preparing RFP’s or similar for professional, design team and other consultants as appropriate.
- Compiling tender lists, checking and analysing tenders and drafting tender reports in respect of procurement of professional, design team and other consultants.
- Liaising with the client, contractors, designers, etc. always demonstrating clear and effective communication.
- Chair and participate in project meetings and monitor key milestones and deliverables.
- Implement the company code of ethics.
- Day to day line assistance on a range of projects across the portfolio.
- Driving and sustaining a high level and quality of service delivery.
- Assisting Senior management in the responsibility for the delivery of agreed strategic and business objectives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Economics or a related Level 8 Discipline.
- Minimum 2 + years of relevant Construction experience.
- Exposure to public works contracts an advantage but not essential
- Able to work independently and take responsibility for the role
- Comfortable working across multiple projects and teams
- Understanding of construction contracts and procurement routes
- Highly proficient in the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
- Client-Side Project Management experience desirable
- Drivers Licence and eligible to work in the EU/UK with flexibility for occasional travel.
