We are looking for a Project Manager, Courier Onboarding & Compliance to act as the single owner of courier and cargo onboarding flows, verification processes, and regulatory compliance across the Delivery Hub.
In this role, you will sit within the Supply department — which builds and protects our supply base across all geographies — and bridge the gap between regulatory rigor, product experience, and funnel conversion. Your job is simple to describe but difficult to execute: build a seamless, compliant onboarding machine that converts leads into active couriers while protecting the business against regulatory risks across diverse international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Own courier & freight onboarding & registration
- Own the registration and verification funnel end-to-end, holding final accountability for the aha-moment conversion rate.
- Develop the WatchDocs (registration platform) flow in close partnership with the product team and agree on per-country form configurations.
- Monitor funnel metrics, diagnose anomalies, and run drop-off research (surveys, courier calls, field tests with local teams).
Drive platform migrations & scalability
- Plan and execute WatchDocs data migrations from old to new platforms on a country-by-country basis.
- Track migration impact on registrations and overall conversion, ensuring smooth transitions without supply disruption.
Lead supply compliance & risk management
- Own KYC, identity verification, and document requirements for the Courier and Freight verticals, driving final accountability for the share of compliant GMV.
- Drive compliance platform development with the engineering team and maintain central compliance dashboards.
- Drive compliance platform features with engineering teams.
Represent Delivery Hub in cross-vertical & regulatory initiatives
- Act as the primary advocate for Delivery Hub in cross-vertical compliance discussions, balancing legal and regulatory risk against funnel performance with data-backed arguments.
- Prepare markets for upcoming regulatory changes (e.g., labor reforms in Kazakhstan, Colombia) and support new market launches in highly regulated environments.
Drive optimization projects & operating rhythm
- Run supply funnel optimization projects, quantifying business impact (conversion, GMV, Net Revenue) in coordination with analytics.
- Own onboarding and compliance streams in quarterly/annual planning, maintaining single-source dashboards and concise decision-oriented materials for senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years in project management or operations within ride-hailing, delivery, or marketplace platforms. Hands-on experience with registration/onboarding funnels, identity verification (KYC), or regulatory projects is a strong advantage.
- Technical & Data Skills: Proficiency in SQL (BigQuery) for independent data extraction/validation, experience building BI dashboards (Tableau or similar), and project management tool mastery (Jira, Confluence).
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of KYC/identity verification flows and core delivery marketplace metrics (GMV, active supply, done rate, activation, funnel conversion).
- Regulatory-to-Product Translation: Strong ability to translate complex legal and regulatory mandates into clear product requirements while quantifying their business impact.
- Stakeholder & Cross-Cultural Management: Fluent in English with strong cross-cultural communication skills (working with local teams across Central Asia, Africa, LatAm, and South Asia). Confident pushing back on stakeholders with data when proposed requirements threaten conversion.
