We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading global biotech company and support a strategic digital transformation initiative within its Global Customer Support (GCS) organization.
The project focuses on accelerating the global adoption of a digital learning and training platform (Learning Management System - LMS) across international business units and regions.
You will work closely with the Project Lead and cross-functional teams to translate strategic objectives into structured execution plans, coordinate global stakeholders, and ensure successful project delivery.
This is a business-oriented project management role, focused on planning, execution, governance, stakeholder coordination and change management rather than hands-on technical delivery.
Your role is:
- Lead day-to-day project execution, translating strategic objectives into clear plans, milestones, deliverables and actionable tasks.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, including schedules, resources, dependencies and workstreams.
- Coordinate cross-functional and international teams, ensuring alignment, accountability and timely delivery.
-
Monitor project progress against agreed scope, timelines, resources and quality standards, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.
-
Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, escalating critical matters when necessary.
-
Ensure compliance with established project governance frameworks, methodologies and phase-gate requirements.
-
Organize and facilitate project meetings, steering committee updates and stakeholder discussions, ensuring effective decision-making and follow-up.
-
Prepare clear project status reports, providing visibility into progress, milestones, risks and key decisions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure effective use of project management tools and systems.
- Support organizational change management activities to facilitate successful adoption of new digital solutions across global teams.
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 years of professional project management experience, preferably in global, complex or strategic transformation projects.
- Higher education in Business Administration, Information Technology, Management or a related field.
- Proven experience managing projects throughout their full lifecycle, from planning and initiation to execution, monitoring and closure.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including PMI/PMBOK, Agile, Scrum or Lean; PMP or equivalent certification would be an advantage.
- Experience working with structured project governance frameworks, project documentation and phase-gate methodologies.
- Practical knowledge of project management and collaboration tools, preferably Monday.com, Jira, ServiceNow or similar platforms.
- Experience coordinating multinational, cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams in a matrix organizational environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including cooperation with senior management, project sponsors and steering committees.
- Excellent planning, prioritization, problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
- Ability to translate complex requirements and ambiguous situations into structured plans, clear responsibilities and actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Proactive, hands-on approach, with a strong sense of ownership, accountability and delivery focus.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with overall project strategy and business objectives.
- Fluent English (minimum C1), both written and spoken; Polish or German would be an additional advantage.
- Flexibility to collaborate with international teams across different time zones.
We offer:
- Long-term cooperation with a leading global biotech company.
- Opportunity to contribute to a strategic digital transformation project with international impact.
- Fully remote work from Poland.
- B2B cooperation with competitive hourly rates.
- Collaboration with experienced professionals in a global, multicultural environment.
- Opportunity to develop project management, digital transformation and change management expertise.
- A challenging, business-oriented role with high visibility and significant stakeholder exposure.
