The IDeaS.Lab team leads this effort through continuous innovation to develop new solutions together with our internal teams, clients & partners.
The Project Manager, Emerging Solutions reports directly into the Director, Emerging Solutions and plays an essential role in developing and leading all project management related activities within the IDeaS.Lab department. A results driven, curious and innovation focused team player, the Project Manager, Emerging Solutions is at the forefront of breaking new ground, aligning projects with business strategy in a rapid business environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develops detailed project plans to achieve time-bound initiatives for a broad range of new industry/product/solution concepts, achieving required milestones and objectives.
- Ensures cross-departmental stakeholder alignment and support for project goals.
- Monitor and track project progress, adapting to changing goals and business need to ensure all stages of emerging product development are achieved.
- Develops and delivers executive ready materials utilizing AI and other department tools: (e.g., insight summaries, recommendations, client briefs) that clearly articulate value, impact, and risk.
- Communicates and tracks regularly on the status of project goals by ensuring project results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, schedule, and cost.
- Builds and supports the initial Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) using AI and other artifacts required for MVP development.
- Provides direction and support to the IDeaS.Lab team to ensure accomplishment of agreed upon goals, objectives, and deadlines.
- Assembles and coordinates, while managing resource availability and scheduling.
- Reports on progress of project to all stakeholders by presenting reports defining project progress, risks and solutions on weekly, monthly, quarterly cadences.
- Successfully manages relationships with the external innovation partners, third parties/vendors and all other stakeholders.
- Delivers project handover for next stage teams.
Additional Responsibilities
- Function as lead on execution of IDeaS.Lab established departmental processes.
- Reviews and makes recommendations regarding processes and/or procedures to improve efficiency, customer service, quality and/or cost savings.
- Willingness to experiment and be self-motivated in a fast-paced environment while also remaining flexible
- Highly adaptable to change and expected to manage projects which have a high degree of uncertainty, in areas where IDeaS has limited prior experience.
- Continuously builds domain expertise in IDeaS solutions, analytics, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to influence solution innovation.

- Skilled in managing projects with a high degree of uncertainty
- Confident in fast-paced environment, with ability to adhere to deadlines
- Knowledge of MS Teams and SharePoint
- Proficient in MS Project, Wrike or similar project management tools preferred
- Proficient with AI tools (Copilot)
- Excellent negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to work/communicate effectively and efficiently in teams, including virtual teams.
