Project Manager (Banking) Location: 100% Remote Position Type: Contract Overview Our client is expanding its project portfolio and is seeking a Project Manager to support a growing number of strategic initiatives across the organization. These are focused on driving successful project execution within a fast-paced financial services environment. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded project management professional with banking industry experience, strong Agile delivery knowledge, and the ability to effectively coordinate teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver results. This is an excellent opportunity tojoin a collaborative Enterprise PMO supporting both customer-facing and operational transformation initiatives. KeyResponsibilities Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables. Lead project teams through all phases of project execution. Partner with business and technology stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support Scrum-based delivery teams. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and drive issue resolution. Provide regular status updates and executive-level communications. Ensure alignment between project objectives and organizational priorities. Coordinate resources and dependencies across multiple workstreams. Proactively identify challenges and implement effective solutions. Foster collaboration and accountability among cross-functional teams. Required Qualifications Proven experience managing projects from initiation through completion. Banking, financial services, or related industry experience. Experience working within both traditional project management and Agile delivery environments. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive project outcomes. Experience managing project risks, dependencies, and competing priorities. Strong facilitation and problem-solving capabilities. Top Skills for Evaluation 1.Project Management & Agile Delivery Strong project management fundamentals. Experience leading Agile teams and supporting Scrum delivery frameworks. Ability to build project plans and execute against defined objectives. 2. Banking Industry Experience Experience supporting projects within banking, financial services, lending, payments, or related environments. Understanding of industry standards, processes, and regulations. 3.Stakeholder Management & Executive Presence Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to engage stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Experience presenting project status, risks, and recommendations to leadership. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
