Project Manager Intern

This role supports the coordination and execution of financial advisory work for a major Italian partner. You will focus on organizing project workflows and ensuring that the data used to test commercial assumptions remains accurate and consistent across all workstreams.

The Role
As a Project Manager Intern, you will work in a fully remote environment alongside our senior principals to maintain the structure of complex advisory projects. You will spend your time verifying that project milestones are met and that the underlying data for our financial models is properly organized. This is not a role for someone who wants to hide behind generic slides: you will be expected to understand the logic of the deals we are analyzing. You will help manage the documentation and communication that keeps our internal team and our major Italian partner aligned during the execution phase of our recommendations.

What You Will Be Doing

• Maintaining project schedules and tracking the completion of specific data requests.
• Reviewing financial documents to extract key assumptions and entering them into tracking tools.
• Assisting with the preparation of internal reports that highlight inconsistencies in project data.
• Organizing and documenting meeting outcomes to ensure that skeptical inquiries are followed up on.
• Verifying that execution steps are being followed by checking operational data against the original financial plan.
• Helping to build simple spreadsheets that track project progress and resource allocation.
• Ensuring all project files are structured logically in our remote working environment.
• Communicating updates to the senior team regarding potential delays or data gaps.

What You Bring

• A current student or recent graduate in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• A high level of comfort with Excel and a willingness to learn more complex modeling techniques.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep track of many moving parts without losing focus.
• A curious mindset that naturally asks why a number looks the way it does.
• Clear, direct writing skills and the ability to summarize complex points simply.
• The discipline to work effectively in a fully remote setting without constant supervision.
• A healthy skepticism toward corporate narratives and a preference for factual evidence.
• The ability to handle sensitive financial information with total discretion and care.
