About the role

The Project Manager leads projects from initiation to completion, ensuring objectives are achieved on time, within scope, and budget. They coordinate teams, manage resources, and maintain client relationships while overseeing risk, quality, and performance. The PM motivates staff, monitors progress and ensures compliance with internal processes and external requirements. They facilitate communication, resolve issues, and provide strategic guidance. This role balances operational execution with leadership responsibilities, promoting project success through planning, organization, and effective stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

The role covers a number of key areas, including but not limited to the following:

• Lead project planning, execution, and delivery.

• Manage project budgets and resource allocation.

• Oversee team performance and task assignments.

• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

• Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

• Maintain communication with clients and stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with local HSEQ legislation.

• Approve timesheets, expenses, and project-related procurement.

• Identify improvement opportunities and suggest process enhancements.

• Take ownership of Health & Safety compliance within assigned projects, ensuring that all activities are planned and executed in accordance with applicable legislation, company policies, and client requirements, while promoting a strong safety culture across the project team.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Experience of managing projects from initiation to completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning

• Knowledge of technical project execution, safety standards, and business operations

• Experience of problem-solving, decision-making, and client-focused communication

• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and stakeholder engagement

• Proficient in ERP/project management software
