About MediTrans

MediTrans is a specialized medical services company supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies through Translation & Review, Medical Writing & Clinical Documents, Linguistic Validation (LV), Cognitive Debriefing (CD), and GMP Communication & Interpretation services.

As we continue to expand our service portfolio, we are looking for a Project Manager (PM) to manage the execution of medical, clinical, and language-service projects.

The PM will coordinate freelance professionals and subject-matter experts while managing project schedules, deliverables, files, versions, costs, and overall execution.

This role goes beyond schedule coordination. You will act as a Project Owner, working closely with internal teams and external professionals to ensure that each project is completed according to the agreed scope, timeline, and quality requirements.

What You’ll Do

Translation & Review

  • Register confirmed projects in our ERP system and maintain project information.
  • Select and assign suitable freelance translators and reviewers based on language pair, subject matter, and project requirements.
  • Provide project instructions, source files, reference materials, and glossaries to assigned professionals.
  • Manage workflows including Translation, Review, and QC.
  • Monitor project schedules, progress, revisions, and deadlines.
  • Manage files, versions, revision histories, and final deliverables.

Medical Writing & Clinical Documents

  • Identify and engage suitable Medical Writers and subject-matter experts based on project scope, document type, and required expertise.
  • Assess writers’ relevant experience, availability, and project fit.
  • Manage projects involving Manuscripts, Abstracts, Clinical Documents, and other medical writing deliverables.
  • Coordinate project kickoff and provide relevant requirements and reference materials.
  • Manage Draft, Review, Revision, and Final stages.
  • Coordinate client feedback, revisions, version control, and changes in project scope.

Linguistic Validation & Cognitive Debriefing

  • Select and coordinate translators, reviewers, interviewers, and other professionals required for each project.
  • Manage workflows including Forward Translation, Reconciliation, Back Translation, and Review.
  • Coordinate participant recruitment and interview schedules for Cognitive Debriefing projects.
  • Manage Participant Feedback, Reports, Target Versions, and other project deliverables.
  • Track project milestones, reviews, and approvals through completion.

GMP Communication & Interpretation

  • Source qualified interpreters for GMP Audits, Inspections, and related projects.
  • Assess interpreters based on subject-matter expertise, experience, language pair, and availability.
  • Confirm interpreter schedules and coordinate assignment details.
  • Provide interpreters with relevant documents, glossaries, reference materials, and project information.
  • Coordinate schedules, locations, online meeting information, and other logistical requirements prior to the assignment.
  • Manage related Translation/QC, Glossary, and Interpretation workflows when required.
  • Respond to schedule changes, additional requests, and operational issues.

Project Management Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects, priorities, schedules, and freelance resources simultaneously.
  • Review and manage project Scope, Deliverables, Timeline, and key requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate translators, reviewers, Medical Writers, interpreters, and other external professionals.
  • Manage project files, versions, revision histories, and deliverables.
  • Track freelancer costs and project execution records.
  • Maintain the Freelancer Pool and project performance history.
  • Manage project status and operational information through ERP and Slack.
  • Identify potential project issues or delays and proactively develop solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with CS and other internal team members to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

  • Professional working proficiency in Korean is required, as this role involves daily communication with Korean-speaking internal teams, clients, freelance professionals, and external partners.
  • Professional English communication skills, including business email correspondence.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and priorities.
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for assigned projects through completion.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to project issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both internal teams and external professionals.
  • Excellent attention to detail in managing files, schedules, deliverables, and document versions.
  • Ability to quickly understand and adapt to new project types and workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a Project Manager in a translation or localization company.
  • Experience as a Medical Writer or managing Medical Writing projects.
  • Experience with Linguistic Validation or Cognitive Debriefing projects.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or clinical research industries.
  • Experience supporting GMP Audits or Inspections.
  • Academic background in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, nursing, or a related field.
  • Experience working with global clients or international partners.
  • Strong Business English proficiency.

Who We’re Looking For

At MediTrans, we value ownership and performance over seniority.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Takes ownership of assigned projects.
  • Communicates and collaborates effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Shares project progress and issues transparently.
  • Can prioritize and execute effectively in a fast-changing environment.
  • Proactively identifies solutions when challenges arise.
  • Looks for opportunities to improve workflows and operational efficiency.

Working Conditions

  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Expected Start Date: Early to mid-September 2026
  • Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00
  • Annual Salary: KRW 28,000,000–40,000,000
  • Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Probationary Period: 3 months with 100% salary
  • Location: MediTrans Headquarters, Deogyang-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid after successful completion of the probationary period
  • Remote work + one day per week at the headquarters

Join MediTrans

MediTrans is expanding beyond Translation into Medical Writing, Clinical Documents, LV/CD, and GMP Communication.

  • We are looking for a Project Manager who can take ownership of project execution, collaborate with a diverse network of professionals, and help us deliver high-quality medical and clinical services as we continue to grow.
