MediTrans is a specialized medical services company supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies through Translation & Review, Medical Writing & Clinical Documents, Linguistic Validation (LV), Cognitive Debriefing (CD), and GMP Communication & Interpretation services.
As we continue to expand our service portfolio, we are looking for a Project Manager (PM) to manage the execution of medical, clinical, and language-service projects.
The PM will coordinate freelance professionals and subject-matter experts while managing project schedules, deliverables, files, versions, costs, and overall execution.
This role goes beyond schedule coordination. You will act as a Project Owner, working closely with internal teams and external professionals to ensure that each project is completed according to the agreed scope, timeline, and quality requirements.
What You’ll Do
Translation & Review
- Register confirmed projects in our ERP system and maintain project information.
- Select and assign suitable freelance translators and reviewers based on language pair, subject matter, and project requirements.
- Provide project instructions, source files, reference materials, and glossaries to assigned professionals.
- Manage workflows including Translation, Review, and QC.
- Monitor project schedules, progress, revisions, and deadlines.
- Manage files, versions, revision histories, and final deliverables.
Medical Writing & Clinical Documents
- Identify and engage suitable Medical Writers and subject-matter experts based on project scope, document type, and required expertise.
- Assess writers’ relevant experience, availability, and project fit.
- Manage projects involving Manuscripts, Abstracts, Clinical Documents, and other medical writing deliverables.
- Coordinate project kickoff and provide relevant requirements and reference materials.
- Manage Draft, Review, Revision, and Final stages.
- Coordinate client feedback, revisions, version control, and changes in project scope.
Linguistic Validation & Cognitive Debriefing
- Select and coordinate translators, reviewers, interviewers, and other professionals required for each project.
- Manage workflows including Forward Translation, Reconciliation, Back Translation, and Review.
- Coordinate participant recruitment and interview schedules for Cognitive Debriefing projects.
- Manage Participant Feedback, Reports, Target Versions, and other project deliverables.
- Track project milestones, reviews, and approvals through completion.
GMP Communication & Interpretation
- Source qualified interpreters for GMP Audits, Inspections, and related projects.
- Assess interpreters based on subject-matter expertise, experience, language pair, and availability.
- Confirm interpreter schedules and coordinate assignment details.
- Provide interpreters with relevant documents, glossaries, reference materials, and project information.
- Coordinate schedules, locations, online meeting information, and other logistical requirements prior to the assignment.
- Manage related Translation/QC, Glossary, and Interpretation workflows when required.
- Respond to schedule changes, additional requests, and operational issues.
Project Management Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects, priorities, schedules, and freelance resources simultaneously.
- Review and manage project Scope, Deliverables, Timeline, and key requirements.
- Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate translators, reviewers, Medical Writers, interpreters, and other external professionals.
- Manage project files, versions, revision histories, and deliverables.
- Track freelancer costs and project execution records.
- Maintain the Freelancer Pool and project performance history.
- Manage project status and operational information through ERP and Slack.
- Identify potential project issues or delays and proactively develop solutions.
- Collaborate closely with CS and other internal team members to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- Professional working proficiency in Korean is required, as this role involves daily communication with Korean-speaking internal teams, clients, freelance professionals, and external partners.
- Professional English communication skills, including business email correspondence.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and priorities.
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for assigned projects through completion.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to project issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both internal teams and external professionals.
- Excellent attention to detail in managing files, schedules, deliverables, and document versions.
- Ability to quickly understand and adapt to new project types and workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Project Manager in a translation or localization company.
- Experience as a Medical Writer or managing Medical Writing projects.
- Experience with Linguistic Validation or Cognitive Debriefing projects.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or clinical research industries.
- Experience supporting GMP Audits or Inspections.
- Academic background in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, nursing, or a related field.
- Experience working with global clients or international partners.
- Strong Business English proficiency.

Working Conditions
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Expected Start Date: Early to mid-September 2026
- Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00
- Annual Salary: KRW 28,000,000–40,000,000
- Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
- Probationary Period: 3 months with 100% salary
- Location: MediTrans Headquarters, Deogyang-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid after successful completion of the probationary period
- Remote work + one day per week at the headquarters
