Project Manager- Power Trading

For our customer, a Commodities Trader - We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile business and technology programme modernising a complex trading technology landscape supporting physical Power & LNG trading

This is a senior role requring someone with a track record within the domain who has delivered a modern, scalable trading platform or decomissioned an old one and worked with a vendor on building a new one to enable future business growth across energy markets.

Contract Duration: Long-term
Start Date: November 2026
Location: Remote / Flexible Working Available
Travel to Switzerland, Nordics, Eastern Europe & UK

Required Experience

• Experience within energy, commodities, trading, or ETRM/CTRM environments. (Endur, Orchestrade, Murex, EOS)
• Knowledge of physical gas and power trading operations.
• Exposure to Physicial Power & Gas market processes, regulatory frameworks, and trading platforms.
• Strong track record managing large-scale system implementation or transformation projects.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary delivery teams in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles and enterprise technology environments.
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when required
