We are a global company with offices in Davis, CA, Mexico City, and Warsaw, Poland. We live by our values of empathy, opportunity, and rigor — and we’re looking for a proactive, tech-savvy professional in Latin America to join our multicultural team. Job Overview Project Managers plan, initiate, and oversee execution of a project, working with multiple internal teams, contractors, and clients. Project managers serve as the liaison between the client and the different stakeholders involved in the project. They are involved in discussions with the client and Account Manager to ensure they have a clear understanding of the client's expectations and desired outcome. The project manager is responsible for maintaining a broad overall view of the entire project, which means he/she delegates certain tasks to Project Coordinators or other team members. The project manager is the one ultimately responsible for the final quality of a project, ensuring that it's delivered on time and to the client's satisfaction. For this reason, project management is more of a leadership role, one that frequently involves trusting others with completion of specific parts or stages of a plan or process. Being ultimately responsible also means the project manager is in charge of managing issues, conflicts or emergencies that may arise, as well as coming up with alternative solutions if the initial plan can’t be carried out for some reason. Duties and Responsibilities Scope and quote translation and localization projects for identified clients Plan and monitor projects to meet deadlines, quality, and budget requirements Manage client relationships and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients Provide support and input to internal teams and clients, including education about the localization process, as required Collaborate with international production teams to create, implement, and maintain appropriate client- or project-specific procedures, solutions, checklists, and instructions Ensure the accuracy of financial project data, workflows, schedules, and processes to maximize efficiency and profitability Resolve questions and issues in a timely and effective manner for clients and internal teams Organize and participate in client meetings Skills and Qualifications Localization experience is required Minimum of 3-year project management experience Proven knowledge of industry-related tools (CAT, OCR, TMS, etc.) Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment Strong customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Demonstrated self-motivation and flexibility to work independently, and as part of a team but also under supervision Professional and consistent communication with clients and internal team Attention to detail Excellent organizational, planning and multi-tasking skills Ability to provide clear directions and guidance to a small team Gathering basic production data for QBRs or other client reporting What we offer Joining a vibrant multicultural team spread across the Americas , Asia, Africa and Europe Professional development and growth opportunities in the localization industry Training in new tools, technologies, and processes Energetic, multicultural, and empathetic working environment
