This is primarily an office-based position, with approximately 70–80% of the role focused on project coordination, client communication, documentation, budgeting, and project management . The position also requires involvement in field operations and the ability to support emergency response activities when required. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple priorities, and responding to emergency incidents outside regular business hours as part of a weekly on-call rotation. Key Responsibilities Coordinate environmental emergency response and remediation projects from initiation through completion Act as a primary liaison between General Managers, technical specialists, clients, field personnel, and other project stakeholders Lead and support Emergency Responders and Environmental Consultants during project activities Coordinate and oversee field operations and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently Develop project scopes, schedules, work plans, and task assignments Manage project budgets, costs, timelines, and forecasts Communicate project progress, updates, and recommendations to clients and regulatory agencies Ensure project activities meet applicable safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements Review and maintain project documentation, reports, and records Support project invoicing, revenue tracking, and financial reporting Identify project risks, changing requirements, and opportunities for improved efficiency Participate in a weekly on-call rotation and provide support during environmental emergencies Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Land Reclamation, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental remediation, reclamation, spill response, or a related field Experience managing environmental projects from planning through completion Previous leadership or project management experience Experience working in safety-sensitive environments Knowledge of environmental emergency response, remediation practices, and applicable regulatory requirements Experience managing project budgets, forecasting costs, and tracking project performance Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment Professional designation or eligibility for designation with an applicable professional organization is considered an asset Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required Why Join Ambipar?
