NATO is rebuilding the network that its command structure runs on. The ITM Recovery programme is replacing legacy infrastructure with a modern, cloud-based operational network across the Alliance — 14 work packages, four delivery teams, one very demanding timeline. The programme office that steers all of it needs a sharp Deputy Project Officer to help keep it on track. You'll be the right hand of NATO's project management officer — running the plans, the boards, the budgets and the reporting that turn a huge programme into controlled delivery. You'll bring PRINCE2 discipline, surface the risks before they bite, and progressively hand your know-how to the internal team. What you'll do - Maintain project plans and status reports to NCI Agency methodology (PRINCE2) - Prepare board packs and decision papers; support project boards and steering committees - Own budget forecasting, variance reporting and portfolio dashboards (Jira / ServiceNow / Power BI / Excel) - Consolidate RAID data and drive RIDAC reviews and escalations - Produce weekly and monthly portfolio status reports (scope / schedule / budget / RAG) - Keep the document library, governance calendar and lessons-learnt register in order; onboard new team members What you'll bring - Expert in at least one delivery methodology (PRINCE2, MSP, PMI-PMP, SAFe or equivalent) - 5+ years supporting project/programme delivery - Strong hands-on with Jira, ServiceNow, MS Project and SharePoint - Confident with the full MS Office suite; crisp minute-taking - Excellent written and spoken English - Nice to have: Power BI / relational database reporting - An active (or obtainable) NATO Secret clearance If bringing order to a programme that matters sounds like your kind of challenge, we'd love to hear from you — apply and we'll be in touch quickly if it's a fit.
