The Strategic Management & Delivery Office within Corporate and Enabling Services is seeking to appoint a Project Officer – Corporate Reporting. The role supports the development, implementation and continuous improvement of corporate reporting, business planning and assurance practices for the department.
You will support portfolio inputs into corporate reporting, assess the quality of performance information and identify process improvements. You will also support departmental business planning and contribute to preparing briefs for senior leaders and Ministers, and collaborate with stakeholders to build capability and improve the quality and use of program information.
About You
- You will bring an understanding of government public administration processes, governance, protocols and reporting requirements, together with demonstrated experience analysing and synthesising complex information to develop practical, evidence-based reports.
- You can write clearly and concisely for varied audiences, including senior leaders, and use sound judgement when handling sensitive information.
- You are organised, adaptable and able to plan and prioritise competing work within tight timeframes.
- You can work collaboratively across teams, communicate with diverse stakeholders, influence constructive outcomes and manage projects through clear objectives, milestones, risks and performance measures.
- You are proactive, committed to quality outcomes and keen to learn and improve.
Essential Requirements
- Understanding of government public administration processes, governance, protocols and reporting requirements.
