We are seeking a detail-driven Property Accountant to support real estate financial management, tenant accounting, and property reporting for our North American business partners. You will manage day-to-day general ledger accounting, perform lease and rent reconciliations, handle property-level financial reporting, and support core financial workflows to ensure smooth, accurate real estate operations.

Your Impact

• Property Financial Management: Maintain accurate general ledger accounts, process monthly tenant billings, track rent receipts, and manage accounts payable and receivable specific to property portfolios.
• Reconciliations & Month-End Close: Reconcile bank statements, tenant accounts, and security deposit ledgers; assist with month-end financial close processes and balance sheet schedules.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual property financial packages, variance analyses, and operational reports for property managers and key stakeholders.
• Compliance & Lease Support: Assist with property tax tracking, operating expense (CAM) reconciliations, lease administration entries, and ensuring financial records align with reporting guidelines.

What You Bring

• The Experience: At least 2 years of solid accounting experience; a background in property accounting, real estate financial management, or lease accounting is preferred.
• Software Competency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or equivalent accounting platforms. Hands-on experience with specialized property management software such as Origin (or Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage) is a strong advantage.
• Core Competencies: Strong analytical ability, high attention to detail, excellent time management, and fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
