Position Summary

The Property Inspector Supervisor comprises of leading and developing a team of property inspectors to ensure that all inspections are conducted efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities include scheduling and overseeing both domestic and international property inspections, reviewing previous reports, and coordinating with other departments to gather necessary property information. The position also entails training new inspectors, maintaining inspection records, and providing detailed reports to management on the outcomes and performance of the team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, manage, and develop a team of inspection personnel within the organization to advance their skill set and capabilities to support the quality mission.
• Conduct annual, reserve, loss draft, and special request property inspections throughout the U.S., and in foreign countries as needed.
• Schedule inspections in an orderly and cost-efficient manner.
• Review prior inspections, McCracken, ASUR, IDM, and consult with other departments for pertinent information about the property prior to conducting the inspection.
• Complete additional research, if needed, and prepare a written inspection report.
• Train new inspectors on company protocols and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain records of inspections and any follow-up actions.
• Communicate with property owners and management about inspection findings.
• Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during inspections.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to inspection team and prepare and present reports to management on inspection outcomes and team performance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to problem-solve and make decisions effectively.
• Experience with property management software and tools.

Preferred Education & Experience

• MBA School of Multifamily Property Inspections
• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in a similar position
