2. About the Opportunity:
The Provider Relations Specialist role involves cultivating and managing relationships with referring providers within a designated territory. This position collaborates internally and externally to coordinate care and enhance client and family experiences. The specialist identifies market opportunities, builds professional partnerships, and supports the expansion of the program’s community impact and patient engagement.
3. Responsibilities:
- Maintain professional communication with colleagues, clinicians, and referral sources.
- Analyze territory and develop outreach plans to regain, retain, and grow referral networks.
- Create and implement quarterly and annual business development plans to meet targets.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with key decision makers to address treatment barriers and establish partnerships.
- Develop new referral channels to increase awareness of services.
- Represent the program at conferences and networking events.
- Plan and deliver presentations and tours tailored to target audiences.
- Respond promptly to service and referral inquiries, supporting referring professionals and families from initial contact through admission.
- Participate in quarterly field rides with senior clinical outreach leadership.
- Manage expenses and company credit card tasks as assigned.
- Perform other duties as required.
4. Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Experience with behavioral health or eating disorder outreach preferred.
- Proficient with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with emphasis on marketing, communications, psychology, or social work.
- Permanent residence in Massachusetts required, preferably near the Boston metro area.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Starting salary range between $95,000 and $125,000.
- Uncapped incentive compensation plan.
- Final compensation based on qualifications and experience.
