Mindify Wellness and Care is hiring Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP-BCs) to provide psychiatric services onsite at our partner adult day care center in Sewell, New Jersey, and through telehealth.

This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking a flexible schedule, an established patient caseload, and the ability to focus on patient care with administrative and clinical support.

Onsite availability in Sewell is required. Telehealth opportunities are available in addition to onsite services.

Schedule

Our partner adult day care center operates Monday through Friday, with typical hours of 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

• Onsite coverage generally needed 1–3 days per week

• Specific days and hours determined based on center needs and provider availability

• Telehealth visits may be scheduled on the same days as onsite appointments or on additional days

• Flexible part-time scheduling opportunities

This is a hybrid position requiring onsite services in Sewell, NJ. It is not a fully remote opportunity.

Compensation

• Initial Psychiatric Evaluations: $70–$90 per completed visit

• Follow-Up Medication Management: $40–$60 per completed visit

Rates are based on experience, credentials, qualifications, and clinical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up medication-management visits

• Diagnose and treat psychiatric and behavioral health conditions using DSM-5-TR criteria

• Prescribe, manage, and monitor psychiatric medications

• Develop and update individualized treatment plans

• Monitor patient progress, medication effectiveness, and potential side effects

• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment options

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR

• Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals

• Conduct risk assessments and address clinical concerns as appropriate

• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, professional standards, and organizational policies

Required Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program

• Active New Jersey RN license

• Active New Jersey Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) certification

• Current PMHNP-BC certification

• Active DEA registration

• Active New Jersey Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) registration

• Strong psychiatric assessment and medication-management skills

• Ability to provide onsite services in Sewell and telehealth services to patients located in New Jersey

Experience:

• At least one year of experience as a PMHNP is preferred

• Newly certified PMHNPs with strong relevant psychiatric experience are encouraged to apply

Experience in outpatient behavioral health, geriatric psychiatry, community-based care, or telehealth is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Position Details

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity.

Mindify provides patient referrals, administrative scheduling support, malpractice insurance coverage, and a collaborative agreement for services provided to Mindify patients.

Malpractice coverage and the collaborative agreement apply only while actively contracted with Mindify and do not extend to outside employment or private practice.

Part-time or full-time W-2 opportunities may be considered in the future based on organizational needs and mutual interest.
