What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments using standardized diagnostic tools.
• Develop and manage evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions (e.g., Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD).
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, carefully monitoring effectiveness, side effects, and patient adherence.
• Deliver remote consultations utilizing Nao Medical’s modern virtual telehealth platforms while strictly prioritizing patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers and clinical leads to optimize interdisciplinary clinic efficiency in our Mineola clinic.
• Accurately document all psychiatric encounters and medical records inside the EMR system utilizing our built-in AI copilots.

• MD or DO degree with an active, unrestricted New York State Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (ABPN)
• Valid Federal DEA Registration and Medication Administration Training (MAT) Certificate
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Infection Control
• Preferred / A Plus: Suboxone Certification
• Ability to handle a digital patient load efficiently while maintaining extreme professionalism and emotional resilience in sensitive situations.
