  • Participate in outbreak responses by collaborating with division and other CDC units and partners; planning and conducting technical assistance (including rapid assessments); establishing and maintaining effective relationships with primary nonfederal stakeholders; and, occasionally, performing field investigation, case management, surveillance, and other operational tasks. This may involve travel within the U.S. and work in varied settings and outside standard business hours.
  • Participate in Center, Branch, and team meetings.
  • Assist with funding packages and Grants Management Module (GMM) tasks (e.g., budget modification updates, funding memos, and upload/download of guidance documents).
  • Provide logistical support for merit, field, and panel reviews for Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFOs).
  • Provide meeting support for required webinars and recipient calls associated with NOFOs.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop actionable, evidence-based recommendations.
  • Experience supporting grants or cooperative agreement activities, including funding packages, NOFO review logistics, and recipient engagement, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with federal and nonfederal partners and stakeholders.
