Role Description The Public Relations Specialist will manage external communications to strengthen Merilex’s brand and reputation in the customer experience field. This part-time, hybrid role is based in Cairo, Egypt, with a mix of on-site work and work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and distributing press releases, coordinating media outreach, and maintaining relationships with journalists and industry partners. The specialist will support strategic communication plans, develop key messages, and prepare content for digital channels and events. The role also involves monitoring media coverage, tracking PR metrics, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistent, accurate representation of Merilex’s services and achievements.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Public Relations and Media Relations to build and maintain strong external relationships.
• Candidates should possess skills in Press Releases and Strategic Communications to create and execute effective communication plans.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear writing and professional verbal communication.
• Candidates should have experience with digital communication channels, social media, and basic content creation.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects on a part-time schedule.
• Candidates should be proficient in English and Arabic; prior experience in CX, consulting, or related fields is an advantage.
• Candidates should ideally hold a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
