We are a performance-based legal network company partnering with personal injury law firms and publishers across multiple U.S. markets on a cost-per-retainer (CPR) model.
We’re looking for a Publisher & Traffic Performance Manager to own the performance, economics, and quality of our publisher traffic — not to sell or manage publisher relationships.
Your job is to determine whether the traffic we’re buying is qualified, compliant, profitable, and scalable, and to turn that data into clear recommendations: scale it, reduce it, fix it, or pause it.
You’ll work alongside Partnerships/Business Development as a peer — not manage them — owning the numbers and quality behind every publisher relationship.
Responsibilities
• Vet new publisher traffic before launch — sources, acquisition method, expected volume, states, compliance, and unit economics
• Own and recommend publisher, campaign, state, and buyer caps based on real performance data
• Monitor daily performance across publishers, campaigns, states, and buyers: qualified %, DQ rate, conversion %, signed/billable cases, retention, effective CPA, and margin
• Evaluate publishers by outcomes, not volume — flag quality deterioration, conversion problems, and anomalies early
• Own full campaign unit economics: Publisher Cost → Qualified Traffic → Signed Case → Billable Case → Revenue → Gross Profit
• Investigate the “why” behind performance shifts and turn findings into specific corrective actions
• Build and maintain performance dashboards and a weekly reporting cadence for leadership
• Monitor pacing and capacity against intake and buyer capabilities to prevent overbuying
• Partner with Finance on reconciliation, and with Lead Quality/QA to connect intake findings back to publisher-level performance
Qualifications
• 3+ Years Experience in performance marketing, affiliate marketing, lead generation, pay-per-call, or media buying — legal/insurance lead-gen a plus, not required
• Comfortable owning unit economics: CPA, CPL, CPQ, conversion rates, gross profit/margin
• Strong with data — Google Sheets/Excel, dashboards, funnel and cohort analysis
• Experience with call tracking, lead distribution, attribution, or affiliate platforms (Ringba or similar) a strong plus
• A track record of making scaling/pause decisions from data, not just reporting numbers for someone else to decide
• Strong written English; comfortable working with US-based leadership and cross-functional teams
Benefits
• Fully remote position
• Outcome-driven culture — measured on results, not hours logged
• Direct influence over where acquisition dollars get deployed
• Opportunity to build the performance function and its reporting infrastructure from the ground up as the company scales
Additional Information
This is not a publisher sales, business development, or account management role. You’ll collaborate closely with Partnerships, Finance, and Lead Quality/QA — but your core focus is traffic performance and economics.
