About Your New Job

As a Python Developer, you will design, develop, and implement Python-based solutions that address complex business problems within the Counterparty Credit Risk function.

You will:

• Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable Python applications for risk management and financial analysis.
• Work closely with business users and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Collaborate with development colleagues to deliver high-quality software aligned with business and technical objectives.
• Contribute to the design and development of solutions using cloud infrastructure and object-oriented database management systems.
• Analyse complex problems, identify practical solutions, and support the continuous improvement of existing applications.
• Participate in an Agile development environment, contributing to planning, delivery, and continuous improvement activities.

What Skills You Need

• Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience of Python development.
• Strong experience working with cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with object-oriented database management systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A meticulous and detail-oriented approach to software development.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Familiarity with collaborative and work management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Pay rate: 600€ per day
• Hybrid working: 3 days in office
• Location: South Dublin
