What we’re looking for:

• 9+ years of experience as a Lead Python Developer
• Deep knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) to ensure code reliability, maintainability, and high quality across all development phases
• Proficiency with Django framework for designing and maintaining scalable, performant backend architectures grounded in clean architecture principles
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools and methodologies
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and principles
• Strong command of refactoring techniques and simple design principles, with the ability to improve existing codebases while preserving functionality and clarity
• Autonomous, performance-driven leader capable of mentoring team members, taking ownership of technical decisions, and championing continuous improvement initiatives
• Fluency in English (B2)

Important:

This position is following a hybrid regime, 2x/week, in Porto. Candidates should be based in Portugal and have a Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit to be considered.
