QA Automation Engineer

This is a remote position.

Compulsory Requirement: Minimum 3 Years Experience as a QA Automation Engineer with a strong portfolio showcasing automated test frameworks, end-to-end testing suites, and robust API test coverage.

Payment Structure: Full-time salary – The QA Automation Engineer will be compensated with a competitive fixed salary aligned with industry standards and experience level for work completed on both FyerX's internal technology infrastructure and external client platforms.

Advantage: Prior experience working with tech firms, marketing agencies, enterprise platform integrations (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow), or establishing automated testing gates within active CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks for FyerX's internal digital platforms and diverse client tech transformations.
  

• Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive end-to-end (E2E), regression, and integration test suites across modern web applications and backend services.
  

• Validate and automate RESTful API and microservice endpoints to ensure data integrity, reliable payload delivery, and secure third-party integrations.
  

• Collaborate closely with front-end, back-end, and DevOps engineers to identify edge cases, replicate complex bugs, and embed automated test suites directly into CI/CD pipelines.
  

• Monitor test execution reports, track software defects, enforce quality gates, and conduct performance profiling to minimize production regressions and guarantee application stability.
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional quality assurance and test automation experience with a proven track record of shipping reliable, bug-free web and API applications.
  

• Advanced proficiency in automated testing frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium.
  

• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java to build maintainable, modular test scripts and custom testing utilities.
  

• Solid experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) and database validation using SQL queries.
  

• Strategic problem-solving skills with a dedicated focus on test strategy design, defect lifecycle management, and writing clear, reproducible bug reports.
  

• Strong organizational, time-tracking, and project management skills; ability to handle multiple testing streams simultaneously, meet tight release deadlines, and coordinate effectively with remote engineering teams.
