We are seeking a Mid-Level QA Automation Engineer who uniquely combines web automation expertise with strong data validation and Power BI reporting verification skills. In this role, you will be embedded within our Digital Banking Platform team, ensuring the end-to-end quality, functional accuracy, and absolute reliability of both consumer-facing digital banking applications and back-end business intelligence reporting solutions.

You are a technical tester who moves fluidly between testing user interfaces (UI) and writing validation frameworks to double-check that the data rendering inside Power BI dashboards perfectly matches underlying data sources.

Core Responsibilities

• End-to-End Automation: Design, build, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web applications using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber (BDD).
• Power BI & Data Validation: Execute rigorous validation of Power BI dashboards, verifying data aggregation, metrics, report layouts, and filtering logic against back-end databases.
• Test Strategy Execution: Author clear, structured test cases, automated scripts, and test plans based on complex banking system user stories in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into Azure CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing, tracking code drops and builds via GitHub.
• Defect Lifecycle Management: Identify, log, and track software flaws and data discrepancies within Jira, collaborating closely with developers and data engineers to drive rapid resolution.

Required Skillsets

• Testing Frameworks: Proven, hands-on automation experience utilizing Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Cucumber.
• BI Validation: Practical exposure to Power BI or similar enterprise reporting tools with the ability to audit data models and report outputs.
• Agile Delivery: Strong execution skills inside fast-paced Agile sprint frameworks.
• Core Build Tools: Solid working knowledge of Maven and TestNG for managing test dependencies and execution configurations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior testing exposure within Digital Banking, Fintech, or Financial Services transactional applications.
• Familiarity with cloud-based repository workflows and pipeline triggers using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
