CGM is seeking a **Team Lead QA Automation** to lead its QA Automation team and define the **test automation strategy** across unit, integration, system, stress, and performance testing. You will combine technical leadership with hands-on engineering where it creates meaningful value, while working closely with Engineering and Product Management to deliver on quality and delivery commitments.
A key focus of the role is advancing **AI-native test automation** in the E-Health environment. You will use AI tools and agents to generate, maintain, and triage tests, establish reusable skills and workflows, and help embed shift-left, automation-first, and risk-based testing throughout the development process. You will also mentor QA Engineers and contribute your expertise to the AIS DE QA community.
## Key Responsibilities
- Provide **technical and disciplinary leadership** for the QA Automation team.
- Define and implement a test automation strategy across:
- Unit testing
- Integration testing
- System testing
- Stress testing
- Performance testing
- Work with Engineering and Product Management on the team's delivery and quality commitments.
- Embed **shift-left, automation-first, and risk-based testing** approaches into the development process.
- Remain hands-on where appropriate, including designing scalable **test frameworks, test harnesses, and CI/CD pipelines**.
- Ensure automation frameworks and pipelines can scale with product complexity.
- Drive **AI-native test automation** initiatives.
- Use **Claude Code and AI agents** for test generation, maintenance, and triage.
- Establish reusable AI skills and workflows for the QA team.
- Mentor QA Engineers and continuously raise the team's technical capabilities.
- Contribute expertise to the **AIS DE QA community**.
- Apply AI, automation, and technical expertise to improve QA effectiveness in an E-Health environment.
## Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated **leadership experience in test automation**, with strong technical credibility.
- Ability to develop a senior QA team both technically and personally.
- Excellent university degree, preferably a **Master's**, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical field, with very good academic performance.
- Solid experience with **multi-layered test frameworks**.
- Experience with **CI/CD**.
- Experience with **load and performance testing**.
- Strong programming skills in at least one language such as:
- C#
- Java
- Python
- TypeScript
- Demonstrated effective use of **AI in QA**.
- Experience with AI agents, skills, and workflows, including Claude Code or similar agentic tools.
- Experience designing **AI pipelines, test harnesses, and Context Engineering**.
- Fluent **German and English**, both written and spoken.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- High level of innovation and proactivity.

## Education & Experience
