QA Automation Engineer (Selenium & Python) - Remote (Argentina)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our fast-paced product development team supporting enterprise software solutions hosted on Microsoft Azure for enterprise clients.

In this role, you will lead quality assurance initiatives, build robust automated test suites using Selenium with Python, execute functional testing, and participate in emerging AI testing frameworks. You will collaborate directly with Agile software development teams to ensure high performance, security, and enterprise-grade reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Automation: Design, maintain, and execute scalable automated test frameworks using Python and Selenium.
• Functional & System Testing: Perform end-to-end functional, regression, API, and integration testing across web applications hosted on Microsoft Azure.
• AI Testing Adoption: Implement and evaluate AI-assisted testing tools and frameworks to accelerate test coverage and quality validation.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives) and collaborate closely with Developers, BAs, and Product Owners.
• Defect Management: Identify, log, track, and retest software defects using Azure DevOps or JIRA, driving issues to resolution.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test scripts into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
• Core Automation: Proven, hands-on expertise building and executing automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Python.
• Functional QA: Strong foundation in functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Cloud & Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure environment, Azure DevOps/JIRA, and Git version control.
• AI Testing: Exposure to AI-driven test automation tools, AI test generation, or prompt-based test design is preferred.
• Methodology: Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development lifecycles.
• Language: Fluent/Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
