  • Execute end-to-end, functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing across applications.
  • Perform API testing and validation using Postman or comparable API testing tools.
  • Implement and optimize parallel test execution to improve automation efficiency and execution time.
  • Perform cross-browser testing across Chromium, WebKit, Firefox, and other supported browsers.
  • Validate user-interface workflows, application functionality, and responsive design behaviour.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, including GCP Cloud Build or comparable technologies.
  • Support quality engineering activities for applications hosted in on-premises and GCP environments.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and establish appropriate test coverage.
  • Identify, document, track, and manage defects through resolution using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Analyze automation results, troubleshoot failures, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Provide clear reporting on test execution, automation coverage, defects, risks, and quality metrics.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in automation frameworks, testing processes, tools, and quality engineering practices.
  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support timely, high-quality delivery.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering/Test Automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Playwright for UI automation.
  • Strong programming/scripting experience using TypeScript and/or JavaScript.

  • Strong experience with frontend and API automation testing.
  • Hands-on API testing experience using Postman or similar tools.
  • Experience with parallel test execution and cross-browser testing.
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience executing end-to-end, regression, functional, integration, and smoke testing.
  • Experience working with cloud-based applications and testing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and quality engineering best practices.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed technical and business teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Knowledge of GCP services such as Cloud Run, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), App Engine, and Cloud Build.
  • Experience testing applications developed using React or Angular.
  • Experience working with microservices and containerized environments.
  • Previous experience within banking or financial services.
