QA Automation Team Lead

A leading international provider of healthcare software solutions is looking for an experienced technical leader to join the engineering department. This role focuses on driving quality assurance excellence and integrating advanced artificial intelligence into testing workflows within a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.

What you'll be doing

• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the automation team while defining comprehensive multi-level testing strategies.

• Oversee delivery and quality commitments in collaboration with engineering and product management using shift-left and automation-first approaches.

• Design and maintain scalable testing frameworks, harnesses, and CI/CD pipelines to manage increasing product complexity.

• Implement AI-native test automation using agentic tools and workflows to enhance test generation, maintenance, and triage.

• Mentor engineers to elevate technical standards and actively contribute expertise to the internal quality assurance community.

What we're looking for

• Proven leadership experience in test automation with the ability to develop senior technical talent and drive strategic initiatives.

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field with a strong academic record.

• Deep expertise in multi-layer test frameworks, CI/CD, and performance testing, with proficiency in C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript.

• Demonstrated success in applying AI tools and agentic workflows within a QA environment to build efficient testing pipelines.

• Professional fluency in both German and English with strong problem-solving capabilities in complex technical landscapes.
