QA Consultant

QA Consultant InnoWave is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented QA Consultant to join a challenging project in the energy sector. QA Consultant Responsibilities Perform manual testing across web and mobile applications Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios Identify, document, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes Participate in test planning, estimation, and test strategy definition Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities Ensure applications meet business requirements and quality standards Support release validation and deployment activities Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices Ensure timely reporting of testing progress, risks, and issues Skills 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on manual testing Experience testing both web and mobile applications Hands-on experience with Xray for test management Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices Experience designing and executing test cases and test scenarios Experience with defect management and bug-tracking tools Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments ISTQB certification is a plus Knowledge of test automation is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Fluent in English — written and spoken (mandatory) Based in Lisbon (mandatory) InnoWave gives equal opportunity in employment regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, race, nationality, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, or any other factor.
