In this role, you will act as the critical "human-in-the-loop" quality owner, bridging the gap between AI-generated testing, engineering output, and the final SAI360 product experience. Leveraging advanced AI-assisted testing and automation tools, you will rapidly design, validate, and maintain high-quality test coverage across multiple software solutions. You will collaborate closely with development and product teams to deeply understand business logic, assess risks, and support seamless, high-quality monthly releases. While maintaining automated test scripts, your primary focus will be on identifying, prioritizing, and tracking complex defects through to resolution—using your expert judgment to capture the critical workflow gaps, edge cases, and user-impacting quality risks that AI tools might overlook.

The primary objectives and responsibilities of a QA Engineer includes:

• Use AI tools to accelerate test design, test data creation, regression coverage, defect analysis, and automation maintenance.
• Actively review AI-generated tests and automation outputs to confirm business logic, customer intent, and release readiness.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and risk-based testing across multiple products and solutions.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date test documentation, including AI-assisted test coverage, known gaps.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers in agile teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
• Automate repeatable test scenarios using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or comparable AI-assisted automation frameworks.
• Define practical human review checkpoints so AI-generated tests and results are validated before influencing release decisions.
• Participate in code reviews, automation reviews, and continuous improvement of QA practices, with a focus on speed, coverage, reliability, and responsible AI use.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience in QA, quality engineering, or test automation for web-based software products.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or comparable frameworks.
• Practical experience using AI tools to improve productivity, such as generating test ideas, drafting automation, analyzing failures, creating data sets, or summarizing defects.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles, preferably Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and release quality practices.
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs critically and identify missing scenarios, weak assumptions, false confidence, or gaps in business logic.
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and willingness to experiment with new AI-assisted QA approaches.
• Ability and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and product domains quickly while supporting multiple solutions in parallel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly explain quality risks, AI-generated findings, and release recommendations.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple testing streams and shifting priorities effectively.
• Comfortable working as a bridge between AI tooling, engineering teams, product managers, and final customer-facing product quality.

As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, the base salary range for this position is €2,333-€2,900 gross per month, plus opportunities for bonuses or commission. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
