Responsibilities

• Review requirements and turn them into clear test scenarios

• Execute functional, regression, exploratory, and acceptance testing

• Create and maintain concise manual test cases and checklists

• Reproduce, document, and prioritise defects with useful evidence

• Verify fixes and monitor for related regressions

• Test web workflows across supported browsers and devices

• Collaborate with engineers and product managers throughout delivery

• Contribute to basic test automation and quality process improvements

Qualification

Required

• Understanding of software testing fundamentals and defect lifecycles

• Strong attention to detail and structured problem-solving

• Ability to reproduce issues and communicate steps clearly

• Familiarity with web applications, browsers, and common debugging concepts

• Ability to organise work and collaborate in a remote team

• Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work environment in the United Kingdom

Preferred

• Familiarity with Jira, Postman, SQL, or browser developer tools

• Exposure to Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or another test framework

• Coursework, projects, or internships involving software quality assurance
