QA Engineer (Junior)

Posted Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 5:00 PM RESPONSIBILITIES Work with the QA team to ensure appropriate test coverage throughout all phases of development. Create, execute, and maintain test cases and other documents based on product requirements. Prepare basic test tools, and test data. Identify, report, and verify defects using tools such as Jira. Communicate progress, blockers, and risks related to assigned tasks. Collaborate with relevant team members to clarify issues and support timely resolution. Proactively manage workload and consistently meet deadlines. Follow established QA and defect management processes. Work with the QA Lead to continuously refine and improve QA processes through lessons learned. Follow team arrangements and guidance from the team lead. Ready to provide backup or assist with advanced tasks when required. Other tasks as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS 1+ years of QA experience in game, mobile, or web product testing, including grey-box, black-box, regression, smoke, and integration testing. Intermediate English communication skills (written and spoken). Basic experience with API testing. Basic understanding of software testing principles and QA processes. Experience in test case creation, execution, and defect reporting. Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira. Good communication and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented, methodical, proactive, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong willingness to learn, continuously improve, and grow within the QA discipline. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with less support as well as collaboratively within a team. Open-minded, respectful, and always ready to support one another Nice to have Knowledge of ISTQB principles or certification.
