As part of this continued growth, we are looking for a QA Engineer to join the Online Development Team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of their digital platforms.

The Role

Reporting into the QA Lead, you will work as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary Digital & Development team, supporting the delivery of high-quality web experiences across a range of online products.

You will be responsible for designing and executing effective testing strategies, identifying risks, improving quality processes and working closely with developers, product teams and wider stakeholders to ensure solutions meet both technical and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage testing activities across web and eCommerce platforms
• Work closely with developers, product owners and wider teams to identify and resolve issues
• Analyse requirements and define appropriate test approaches based on risk and business impact
• Perform functional, regression, integration and exploratory testing
• Identify opportunities to improve QA processes and introduce efficiencies
• Support continuous improvement within an Agile delivery environment
• Contribute to discussions around product quality, usability and technical improvements

What We're looking for:

You will be a proactive and analytical QA professional who enjoys solving problems and improving digital experiences.

You’ll have:

• Experience testing websites, web applications or digital platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to assess risk and determine appropriate testing effort
• Experience using a variety of testing tools such as BrowserStack, Postman and browser developer tools
• Experience working with test management tools and structured QA processes
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
• A passion for learning and keeping up with emerging technologies

Desirable Experience - It would be beneficial if you have experience with:

• Testing REST APIs
• Accessibility testing and digital inclusion standards
• Agile delivery environments (Scrum/Kanban)
• Version control tools such as Git
• Test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver or similar
• Identifying opportunities where automation can improve quality and efficiency
• Taking ownership of products, features or technical areas
