QA Lead

Location: This position is remote within Colombia Huge is looking for a QA Lead to drive end-to-end quality strategy, test execution, and continuous delivery across high-impact e-commerce and content management initiatives. As the QA Lead, you will act as the quality authority across complex enterprise ecosystems—shaping testing methodologies, selecting the right tooling, and ensuring seamless platform performance. In this role, you will bridge the gap between Product, Engineering, and Strategy to establish overarching QA strategies and test plans. From validating multi-channel storefronts built on Adobe Commerce and enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., Optimizely or AEM ) to evaluating modern automation tools and leveraging AI for testing efficiencies, you will guide teams toward delivery excellence while continuously challenging the status quo. A successful candidate is a hands-on leader, a critical thinker, and a proactive problem-solver who can guide other QAs, make decisive architectural calls on quality tooling, and drive continuous improvement across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). What You’ll Be Doing QA & Test Strategy Leadership: Shape and own the overall QA strategy, test plans, and release criteria across complex enterprise initiatives, selecting and implementing the right toolsets to maximize coverage and speed. Team Guidance & Mentorship: Lead, guide, and mentor other QA engineers—setting direction, establishing testing standards, and making confident decisions on testing approaches and priorities. E-Commerce & Enterprise CMS Testing: Lead quality validation for multi-stream platforms powered by Adobe Commerce and enterprise CMS platforms (such as Optimizely or AEM ), ensuring feature fidelity, transaction reliability, and system performance. Hands-on Execution & Automation: Maintain a hands-on approach by validating complex user flows while leveraging and implementing modern test automation tools to streamline regression and release testing. AI Tooling & Innovation: Bring exposure to and curiosity for AI-driven testing tools and workflows, exploring innovative ways to continuously optimize test generation, execution, and triage. SDLC & Process Optimization: Deeply evaluate the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within agile delivery frameworks, proactively identifying gaps, challenging existing processes, and advocating for continuous improvement. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Design teams during sprint planning and refinement to ensure clear acceptance criteria, early risk identification, and seamless release validation. What We’d Like to See 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with proven experience leading QA strategy and team members on enterprise digital or agency engagements. E-Commerce Platform Expertise: Solid, hands-on testing experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento) or similar enterprise e-commerce platforms. Enterprise CMS Exposure: Proven background testing large-scale Enterprise CMS environments (ideally Optimizely or AEM ). QA Tooling & Automation: Hands-on experience with functional automation frameworks and performance tools, with a strong understanding of when and how to implement them effectively. Curiosity for AI: Genuine interest and practical curiosity regarding how AI can enhance QA processes, automation, and platform efficiency. Deep SDLC & Agile Mastery: Expert understanding of agile methodologies, sprint workflows, defect lifecycle management in Jira, and shift-left testing practices. Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: A proactive mindset that challenges the status quo, asking "how can we do this better?" and driving impactful process improvements. Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the confidence to make decisive choices on strategy and present quality risks clearly to stakeholders. Nice to Have Accessibility Knowledge: Familiarity or baseline exposure to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and accessibility testing best practices.
