Welcome to Mobilexpense, where your skills drive progress and innovation! ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer who is passionate about software quality. This role requires analytical skills, attention to detail, a critical mindset, genuine commitment to delivering a high-quality product and motivation to make a team of 2 other QAs. You will take ownership of the quality assurance process for our flagship enterprise product. Beyond testing activities, you will play a key role in driving quality standards across the team, mentoring junior QA engineers, and setting targets for our test automation suite, developed in house by a QA Automation engineer also reporting to you. WHAT YOU'LL DO Review and analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications Identify risks, gaps, inconsistencies, and potential quality issues early in the development lifecycle Design, create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios and test cases Ensure product requirements are fully understood, validated, and tested before delivery Support and mentor junior QA Engineers, sharing knowledge and promoting QA best practices Guide and collaborate with the automation engineer by helping identify automation opportunities, reviewing test coverage, and ensuring alignment with business priorities Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and methodologies Advocate for a quality-first mindset across the product. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Proven experience as a QA Engineer in a Senior role, preferably already having led a QA team Strong hands-on experience with functional/manual testing Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Strong understanding of software development lifecycles Clear written and verbal communication Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong analytical thinking and AI proficiency: all team members are expected to demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and make smart use of AI tools, whatever helps them work smarter and drive results in their role Nice to Have Experience with Jira/Azure DevOps, Github, or similar Basic SQL and database validation skills Experience working alongside test automation teams Familiarity with CI/CD environments and quality best practices Experience with API testing WHAT WE OFFER A clear path to grow your career in Quality Assurance Training, mentoring, and career development opportunities The chance to shape QA processes as the team continues to grow The opportunity to influence product quality and contribute to improving the product experience If you think you're a good fit, we'd love to hear from you - apply now!
