SAP EWM Technical Consultant, ABAP | Life Sciences | 12 Months | Fully Remote, nearshore

A regulated manufacturing client needs hands on EWM technical capability to support build and integration on an S/4HANA warehouse deployment. This is a development role, not oversight.

The work

You will pick up requirements early, shape the technical approach alongside the functional team, and build it. That covers RF transaction development, warehouse monitor extensions, output and label handling, custom enhancements, and the interfaces connecting EWM to surrounding systems. You will work across a combined onshore and offshore team.

Background we are looking for

• Hands on EWM technical delivery on recent S/4HANA releases, with enough process knowledge to challenge a functional design sensibly
• RF development and customising, including mobile transaction build for warehouse operatives
• Output determination and label printing, including complex or conditional scenarios
• Interface build and support, with practical experience of error handling and reprocessing in high volume message environments
• Strong modern ABAP: CDS views, AMDP, workflow, business object frameworks and rules based logic
• Web service and OData integration, plus forms based output
• Solid classic ABAP foundations, including reporting, enhancement techniques, dialog programming and dictionary work
• Comfortable diagnosing performance problems and runtime errors and fixing the root cause

Useful additions

• Fiori extension and adaptation work
• Pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device background
• Awareness of where SAP is taking EWM over the next few releases

The detail

• 12 month contract with strong likelihood of extension
• Fully remote. Preference for candidates based in Poland or Romania
• Business fluent English required
