QA Manager

Description Job Requirements: Manage day to day operations for your staff and projects being a hands on manager, including resource allocation and prioritization, business case estimates, design reviews, project effort estimates, automation expansion and execution, to effectively deliver results. In other words, figure out how to get your team’s job done in the most effective way possible. Anticipate needs and implications of decisions, proactively working to identify, clarify, and resolve issues. Remove barriers in and outside the organization in a timely manner Working with product designers and developers at all stages to promote quality Manage, plan, develop, and execute software testing tasks for applications developed using various technologies including distributed Internet technologies (Java/.net, relational databases, XML, web services, etc.). Create and execute Test Plans, Test Cases, Status Reports, and Metrics. Flexibility to work with changing requirements Producing test plans and ensuring they are followed Automation being the highest priority to ensure product quality, be a hands on automation person to write and review the automation scripts Producing and prioritizing bug reports Reproducing bug reports from the field and writing clear steps to reproduce Running cross-platform & browser testing Good understanding on load, scalability, and performance testing requirements and ensuring they have been met Working with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis Good understanding on the agile scrum methodologies Provide “triage” and troubleshooting skills for QA team Required Skills: Excellent communication skills Great teamwork and strong leadership skills and experience in working with offshore teams Programming knowledge on Java Experience with automation tools (such as Selenium/Java, Python) Experience with MySQL, SQL Server, Progress etc Experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, ZAP will be an advantage Experience with API automation Strong technical aptitude and experience with the technical tools like Jenkins for CICD etc Passionate about new technology, AI and perform technical evaluations Required to document and report on defects and other software issues Strong problem-solving ability Experience with ERP and web-based database applications preferred Must be motivated; a self-starter, results oriented individual with a successful track record. Should be experienced in Agile methodologies preferably certified Scrum Master. Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Claude API, Cursor, Copilot, or comparable) in real day-to-day work — not just demos. You can speak to where they help, where they hurt, and how to keep humans in the loop on review and security. Work Experience Requirements: 11+ years of software testing and/or software development experience working in ERP domain Experience in managing QA teams of 6 – 10 size. Minimum 2 years of experience in managing QA teams. Experience in Automation using any one of the tools i.e Selenium or Playwright , API automation, Performance and Security testing Education Recommendations: Bachelor's degree is mandatory. A specialization in Computer Science or Printing technology. Behavioral Competency : Excellent communication skills (must be able to interface with team in India and US) Strong analytical skills to solve and model complex business requirements are a plus. Desirable qualities: Experience defining AI usage policies, prompt libraries, or internal skills/agents that codify team standards for AI-assisted development. Problem Solving - Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions. Probes all fruitful sources for answers. Is excellent at honest analysis.
