As a QA Software Tester, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of technology solutions through comprehensive testing, defect management and continuous improvement of testing practices. Max term opportunity until the end of May 2027 (Parental Leave Cover) Sydney or Melbourne location Hybrid working environment Key responsibilities include: Create and execute test scenarios, test cases and test data to validate functional and non-functional requirements. Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies and test execution approaches aligned to project objectives Execute testing activities across system integration, regression, user acceptance and production verification testing. Identify, manage and report defects, working closely with stakeholders to drive timely resolution. Monitor and communicate testing progress, coverage and defect status to project teams and stakeholders. Identify opportunities for test automation and support the implementation of testing frameworks and tools. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, uplifting quality assurance practices and delivery standards. How do you exceed our expectations? Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing. Extensive experience managing end-to-end testing activities across multiple projects and releases. Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Xray, Jira, TestRail, or equivalent. Proven ability to develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test execution reports. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, and release planning. Strong defect management skills, including triage, root cause analysis, and risk assessment. Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools, with the ability to identify automation opportunities.
