QA & Test Manager

Location: Who we are Private Bank (PB), operating through two distinct business units of Private Bank Germany (PBG) and the International Private Bank (IPB), covers private, wealth and commercial clients across more than 60 countries. Quality Assurance (QA) is responsible for ensuring testing strategies, plans and deliverables are executed for all applications and programmes of work within their domain. This will be combined with a QA Testing Manager Responsibility for testing activities on the dbFlow Automation project. We are looking for a QA & Test Manager to help create the next big thing in digital banking. What You’ll Be Doing Designing and conducting testing procedures and frameworks to verify software and other technical products to ensure expected functional performance Investigating instances where software and technical products do not perform as expected Designing and conducting quality assurance practices to support business development activities Driving the adoption of recognized best practice and policy and contributes to the ongoing improvement of methodologies and assets for the business Working with their counterparts across the business to raise the standard of QA across the bank Recording of defects and the collation of metrics and KPI information for reporting purposes Testing disciplines include: Performance Testing, Test Automation, Test Processes, Testing Products Ability to define the test strategy, preparation of test concepts Participate in system integration and user acceptance testing Communicate with business, project managers, product owners, developers, Maintain QA-related project documentation Development and maintenance of the test automation framework Developing tests cases, test plans, test scripts, test data sets, or test procedures based on business requirements Reporting results of automated tests to development teams so that defects can be addressed before production release What We’re Looking For Bachelor or Master Degree in computer science or similar Solid understanding of Scrum, Kanban and/or Agile software development methodologies Experience in at least one programming language and software development best practices(Java/OOP preffered) Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium + Java preferred) Knowledge of BDD methodology, practical experience in BDD testing Strong experience with API Testing and tools (Postman, Soap UI) Experience with load and performance testing (jMeter) Strong experience with test planning, test documentation, defect tracking, reporting tools (ALM, Jira, TestRail or similar) Knowledge of databases Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices and tooling (Jenkins, TeamCity, OpenShift, Docker and Kubernetes) At least a basic understanding of retail banking and operations processes Nice to have: German speaking language Knowledge of Camunda BPM processes Document What’s in it for you ✔ New beginnings can be a challenge.
