QA Tester

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering backend APIs, database operations, and frontend-backend integration. • Validate data migration from Supabase to Azure Database for PostgreSQL, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and performance. • Test authentication and authorization flows implemented via Azure Active Directory B2C, including JWT handling, session management, and SSR behavior. • Perform API testing (functional, integration, and regression) for services built using Node.js and Azure Functions or Next.js API routes. • Validate replacement of Supabase features such as Row-Level Security (RLS) with application-layer authorization logic. • Test file upload/download workflows and access control using Azure Blob Storage. • Conduct performance and load testing for backend services and database queries. • Validate real-time features implemented via Azure SignalR Service or similar technologies. • Develop and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, and end-to-end). • Identify, document, and track bugs, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution. • Ensure system reliability through regression testing during each phase of migration. • Participate in CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated testing into deployment workflows. • Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering backend APIs, database operations, and frontend-backend integration. • Validate data migration from Supabase to Azure Database for PostgreSQL, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and performance. • Test authentication and authorization flows implemented via Azure Active Directory B2C, including JWT handling, session management, and SSR behavior. • Perform API testing (functional, integration, and regression) for services built using Node.js and Azure Functions or Next.js API routes. • Validate replacement of Supabase features such as Row-Level Security (RLS) with application-layer authorization logic. • Test file upload/download workflows and access control using Azure Blob Storage. • Conduct performance and load testing for backend services and database queries. • Validate real-time features implemented via Azure SignalR Service or similar technologies. • Develop and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, and end-to-end). • Identify, document, and track bugs, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution. • Ensure system reliability through regression testing during each phase of migration. • Participate in CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated testing into deployment workflows. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science Engineering, or a related field. • Strong experience in QA/testing for web applications and backend systems. • Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST clients) and automation frameworks. • Experience testing applications built with Node.js and TypeScript. • Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and database validation techniques. • Experience validating authentication systems, JWTs, and session-based workflows. • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure services. • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or similar). • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
