Quality and Clinical Governance Lead
ASQThe Quality and Clinical Governance Lead provides leadership and oversight of clinical governance, quality, safety, and risk management across Aged and Community Services. Working closely with operational leaders, the role drives continuous improvement, strengthens quality systems and governance practices, and supports the delivery of safe, high-quality care and positive client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to embed a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Provide expert advice on clinical governance, quality management, and risk management.
- Support the development and implementation of governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Deliver education and guidance to strengthen quality and safety capability across the workforce.
- Lead and enhance quality management systems, including risk, incident, complaints, and feedback processes.
- Develop and maintain quality reporting, dashboards, and performance monitoring frameworks.
- Analyse quality and safety data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and support effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Nursing or a related discipline, with current AHPRA registration.
- Current Queensland Driver Licence and own reliable vehicle
- Demonstrated experience in clinical governance, quality assurance, safety, and risk management.
- Strong understanding of quality improvement methodologies and regulatory requirements.
- Experience influencing and partnering with operational leaders to drive organisational outcomes.
- Highly developed analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management capabilities.
