Senior Testing & Quality Assurance Analyst (Healthcare)

Remote – Canada

We're seeking an experienced Testing & Quality Assurance Analyst with a strong background in healthcare information systems to support a large-scale healthcare technology initiative. The successful candidate will have extensive experience developing and executing test strategies, validating healthcare applications, and ensuring solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

Required Experience

5+ years of experience in a project environment developing and executing:

• Test strategies
• Test scenarios
• Test scripts
• Test cases
• Functional and non-functional testing

5+ years of experience testing healthcare information systems supporting clinical and/or administrative healthcare operations, including developing detailed test cases, executing testing activities, and validating business processes.

3+ years of experience testing software solutions in a healthcare environment, including:

• Business process validation
• Data validation
• End-to-end system testing

3+ years of experience working as a Quality Assurance Analyst within a healthcare environment.

3+ years of experience testing OpenID Connect (OIDC) authentication, including desktop and mobile workflows, configuration validation, and execution of authentication-related test scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive QA strategies and test plans.
• Create and execute unit, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance test cases.
• Validate functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Perform application, workflow, and data validation.
• Analyze defects, document findings, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Support business stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Contribute to business process analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in requirements validation and solution reviews.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Healthcare data validation
• Defect management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, HP ALM, or similar)
